As you probably know by now, we have a new entrance to the church property! Our campus can now be accessed from Main Street by turning onto the ramp toward eastbound Airport Freeway. Instead of heading down toward the highway, stay right and turn up into our parking lot!
This driveway is an ENTER ONLY! When you are ready to leave the campus, please choose any of our other access points on either Main Street or Highway 10.
The Building Committee submitted preliminary plans, including elevations and a site plan to the City of Euless on Thursday, August 31. We are now in a 6 week process of interaction with the city’s professionals regarding codes and other requirements. The ultimate goal is, of course, to gain approval of the Planning and Zoning Commission and then the City Council to earn a Special Use Permit that would allow us to build on the site at Ash and Industrial.
Here is a bit of news: our new address, should all this work continue successfully, will one day be 1001 Ash Lane, Euless.
The Building Committee will continue to work closely with GFF, our architecture firm, and the Ratliff Group, whom we’ve hired as our Owner’s Rep, to oversee the project. This committee meets a couple of times each month, and will share updates as they are able.
News of our intent to move has reached the neighborhood around the property, so, if you live there, please share our excitement with your neighbors as we look forward to becoming part of that community as a church family!
