|NEW UPDATE REGARDING IN-PERSON WORSHIP: |
We will not reestablish a date to reopen until we see a decreasing rate of positive cases over a 7-day period. We encourage those who would like to return to group worship to gather in small groups and enjoy the worship together until it is safe to have a larger group gather. Those who are interested in opening their homes and those who would like to gather, please contact the church office if coordination is needed.

The Church Board is preparing for in-person worship. We will continue to implement safety protocols in an effort to be ready. The Board is monitoring the Texas COVID-19 Positivity Rate provided by the Texas Department of State Health Services. This rate is a percentage of positive cases reported, calculated as a 7-day average. The Board is looking for a decline in this number for 7 days before establishing a return to in-person worship in the sanctuary.
We will continue to monitor other churches in the area and learn how others are managing to ensure congregation safety. More details will come as we get guidance from the Church Conference.
In the meantime, we will be providing a live stream worship on Facebook at 10:30 am in preparation to an in-person worship at 10:30.
For more information on how we are worshiping during this time, check out our Worship page.
Our office is now open M-Th 9-3 (closed Fridays). Appointments are required to ensure social distancing and the safety of our church staff! Please wear a mask or one will be provided. Please call 817-283-4421 to schedule.
Sign-in required to enter the building outside of worship. Please log the areas that you plan to access. Due to the extensive cleaning and disinfecting CDC requirements we are limiting the areas used. The Heyl building will be closed for daily use and will be cleaned on an as needed basis. Preschool employees will sign in and utilize the doors at the east side of the building and will be responsible for their own cleaning and disinfecting needs for the month of July. Focused cleaning/disinfecting will be the Narthex, Swor Parlor/office and the front portion of the Sanctuary. Please check back here often for updates about how Euless FUMC is responding to COVID-19.
