Adult classes are offered from 9:45-10:45 am, between the worship services.
Builders – (Room 205) We are a small but growing group focused on building a stronger personal relationship with Jesus, building strong Christian families rooted in faith and building our church through caring and support for those in our congregation and community. We are a group of parents who are raising young (and not so young!) children, leaning on faith for guidance. Led by Susan Downey and Lauralee Arnold
Fresh Start – (Room 203) Dedicated to studying God’s word and its application to our daily lives in a positive, family-oriented environment. This active group participates enthusiastically in all ministries and programs of FUMC and also builds lasting Christian friendships through social activities and spiritual support. Dave Lewis, Teacher.
Friendship – (Chapel off of Family Life Center Gym) A group of fun-loving people, age 50 and up. Our group studies the Adult Bible Studies literature. We are made up of singles and married couples. Come join our Christian journey. Reta Ray, Teacher.
Genesis – (Room 204) A diverse, fun and exciting group of singles and couples of all ages eager to study God’s word so that we can grow our relationship with Him and each other. We have ongoing study of the books of the Bible intermixed with studies for personal growth with our relationship with God. Larry Lewis, Teacher.
Harmony – (Room 106) Friendly adult class, some couples, some not, some retired, some not. Study of the Adult Bible Studies with lecture and good discussion. We eat out at lunch after Sunday School about once a month. O.D. & Norma Lively, Teachers.
New Beginnings – (Room 202) Service oriented, open and accepting class. A diverse group who finds its commonality in Jesus. Offering biblically focused, lively discussion that helps people live as Christians in an increasingly non-Christian world. Mike Springer, Teacher.
Together – (Room 206) Fun and caring class, most members age 50 and up. We do Bible study each Sunday. We also fellowship together in members homes, eat out together, and attend community functions such as musicals and plays. Bob Menton, Teacher.
Synergy – (Room 208) Enthusiastic, but non-traditional seekers who challenge each other through a variety of study topics to grow in Christian love. Janna Hamm, Mike McGehee, & Rita Young, Teachers.
