We love this simple idea, and we feel it is important to ensure our members know the steps they can take to live out this mission. We are called to follow God, to follow God together, and to follow God together with purpose. What does this mean, you ask?
We follow God by attending worship regularly, we pray for one another, we read the Bible and devotionals.
We follow God together by our fellowship. We are intentional about spending time together in small group studies or in our Sunday school classes because we know faith is a communal activity and we are better together!
We follow God together with purpose by challenging ourselves to move forward in faith, to not be complacent with just following God alone, but to push ourselves to be better followers. We serve in leadership positions, we give financially (or tithe), we attend mission trips, we help with children and adult Sunday school, we lead small groups – the possibilities are endless!
Following God together with purpose is the processes to becoming a disciple. Together, we will grow in our journey together.
to help people follow Jesus Christ a bit better today than yesterday.
to grow with God, join with others and connect others with God.
We believe in worshiping God.
We know that God’s love is life changing and we want people to experience God’s contagious love through our enthusiasm.
We believe in spiritual and physical growth.
We strive for the courage to be vulnerable with ourselves and each other to grow. Faith is a continual journey to challenge our complacency with God. We want to mentor, teach, and grow new and young believers. We want to grow in fellowship with others.
We believe in serving people’s spiritual and physical needs.
We are putting our growth into action. We are compelled to love, care and serve all in our community, and to include feeding the hungry, both body and soul.
We believe in reaching people in all places and stages of life.
We want children, young adults, families, single persons, elderly, those struggling and those joyful to come together supporting each other in Christ’s Love. Just as Christ is always seeking us, we strive to seek those who need connection.
We believe God is a generous giving God.
Our lives will reflect God’s generosity with our prayers, our presence, our gifts, our service, and our witness.
